These terms reference the concentration of essential oils in a scent. Parfums or perfumes are the strongest strength with approximately 20-30% of essential oils. Eau de Parfum (EDP) represents midrange strength consisting of 10-15%, and Eau de Toilette (EDT) is the lightest strength containing the least amount of essential oils with a range of 3-8%. Bellekin’s EDP compound is 18-25%, and our EDT compound is 7-9%.
The most significant influence on scent longevity is ensuring that skin is properly moisturized prior to applying the scent. Layering products such as body lotions or oils with the same scent will also increase the longevity and intensity of a scent
We recommend applying your Bellekin fragrance on each of your wrists and each side of your neck. We also recommend spraying the back of your neck so that you leave a scent trail behind you. It is recommended to apply the fragrance directly to the skin to allow the fragrance to blend with one’s chemistry as well as emit scent when warmed by the body. Do not rub the fragrance on skin or rub your wrists together, as this will alter how the fragrance develops.
Some notes in our handcrafted fragrances can be photosensitive. It is possible they can change color over a long period of time, if they are exposed to direct light.
The shelf life of our artisanal fragrances begins with the first spray once the scent has been introduced to air, allowing for a 3-5 year shelf-life as long as they are stored properly.
To maintain the quality of your Bellekin scents after purchase, we advise that they are stored away from daylight, heat and extreme temperature change, which are the greatest causes of perfume deterioration.
The perfect environment for a Bellekin fragrance is a dark, cool space like a drawer, or on a shelf in a closet in a room with stable temperature. Do not store your fragrance in a bathroom or car.
An ancillary product is typically a bodycare item that is scented to match its namesake fragrance and is used to layer and intensify the scent but is also excellent to wear on its own.

Yes. One free complimentary sample are offered with every full-size product order. You can also purchase one of our Sampler Sets to experience Bellekin fragrances.
Currently, Bellekin offers Sampler Sets for purchase. Our Sampler Sets include four Bellekin fragrance vial. Each vial is 2ml and includes approximately 20-30 sprays of fragrance. Please note, Sampler Sets are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Every full size Bellekin.com order comes with one complimentary sample and we strive to accommodate all sample requests. However, substitutions will be made if the original request is not in stock.
SHIPPING
Shipping is available within Canada, Puerto Rico and the United States only. Bellekin DOES NOT ship to PO/APO/FPO addresses.
Orders placed over the weekend will ship the following business day (on Monday). Orders placed after 11:30 AM EST will ship the next business day.

RETURNS
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase or delivery that are unopened, unused and have not been tampered with.
We cannot accept returns and exchanges of Bellekin products purchased at our authorized retailers.
GIFT CARDS
Bellekin E-Gift Cards are only redeemable on www.Bellekin.com.
Bellekin E-Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged after they have been delivered to the recipient.
No. You will only be charged the face value of the E-Gift Card.
Not currently. Please contact our Customer Service team to cancel your E-Gift Card at +31 6 11 48 81 20 Monday to Friday from 9 am – 9pm EST, and Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm EST. A replacement e-card will be issued for the new value.
If you chose a delivery date that is in the future, you can cancel your purchase by contacting our customer service at +31 6 11 48 81 20. If the delivery date is today or in the past, your purchase cannot be cancelled.
When purchasing a Bellekin E-Gift Card, an email will be sent to the recipient informing them of your gift with a link to our website and the unique voucher code to use to enjoy their E-Gift Card. If purchasing outside of business hours, please allow 24 hours for your purchase to be processed and approved.
You will receive a message to your e-mail informing you of the delivery confirmation to the recipient.
To use your E-Gift card, simply visit www.Bellekin.com, shop your favorite fragrances and enter your unique gift card code at checkout in the “Promo Code” field. The amount of your E-Gift Card will be deducted from your total order.
If the total amount of your order is less than the value of your Bellekin E-Gift Card, you will receive an email indicating the balance remaining on your card with a new unique E-Gift Card code of the corresponding unused value to use toward your next purchase.
When the total amount of your order exceeds the total value on your Bellekin E-Gift Card, the credit card you choose to use will be charged the remaining balance. All of the value on your Bellekin E-Gift Card will be used first before any amount is charged to your credit card.
There is no expiration date on your E-Gift Card.
